It has been approximately a month since the grand opening date of Myanmar IPD has commenced since April 26, 2023. Applicants who have not used their trademarks in Myanmar or have not registered the Declaration of Ownership of Trademark (DOT) prior to April 1, 2023 can now filed the trademark application under the new law.
Further, on May 16, 2023, Myanmar IPD has announced that the deadline to submit notarized TM-2 for appointment of representative and official filing fee for application filed during soft opening period will be extended from the previous deadline of May 31, 2023 to June 30, 2023.
