S&I International Bangkok Office was established in 1996 and has been in IP business for 24 years. Our business has experienced in local environment and witnessed growing economy in Asia Region. We went through a major change, and experienced the great events of Bangkok, Thailand, the center city of Southeast Asia. The intellectual property situation, legal system and the operation here have been greatly developed by the government authorities.
It has been said that the intellectual property system is mainly composed of a government authority who registers the rights, an inventor or creator who creates the intellectual property, and a right holder who holds and uses the rights. Under these relationship, beside of the examination and registration, private sector plays a vital role in most of activities. We, as the patent firm, play the vital role of private sector to run the process smoothly and accurately. In particular, we are also a Japanese firm working abroad. Therefore,we have to extend our roles to support our customers in other matters. In some situation, we provide support to clients as a corporate consultant, and in some situation, we have to support to the local governments and related organizations on their activities. Our commitments are not only to provide clients with professional services, but also provide them with services from the perspective of customers. In particular, we aim to facilitate intellectual property system for our customers, and work together with a sense of transparency.
