On October 26, 2023, the Director of the National Office of Intellectual Property has issued the Decision no. 1057/QD-SHTT (https://ipvietnam.gov.vn/documents/20195/1587059/Quyết+định+1057/7b0e0e85-248d-4a50-8b37-2e5bc05f6877) regarding the disclosure of the trademark application information on the Digital Library of Industrial Property (WIPO Publish). According to the issued Decision, from January 1, 2024, trademark applications will be disclosed immediately on WIPO Publish after the applications are received as opposed to the current practice which the applications are disclosed only after the applications have been accepted as to formality.
The decision is effective from January 1, 2024.
